The review model comes with a charger, documents, USB cable and keyboard. Moreover, its presence as standard is a significant plus for this gadget.
It is advisable to dwell separately on how things stand with the use of the input means. First of all, the keyboard is attached using magnets and special connectors; it holds firmly and is not fragile.
It detaches simply and without any extra effort. When you connect the keyboard, several additional options for using the device appear - installation in the form of a tent, a stand under the tablet part itself, or as an input means covering the screen when transporting the device.
With all options, when you are not using the keyboard, it automatically turns off, so there will be no accidental key presses. We only advise you not to bend the tablet part too much when using the device as a laptop, otherwise it will swing in the opposite direction.
The keyboard itself, included with the Acer Aspire One 10, deserves praise for the high-quality execution of all elements. First of all, without exception, all the alphabet keys, except for “е”, are the same size, they are not too small, and even the Enter key is quite large and can be easily felt when touch typing. Further, the keys are placed at a short distance, they are pleasant to press, in general, using the input tool is a pleasure. The touchpad was also not damaged - it has the optimal size, slightly elongated shape.
Overall, it is commendable that the keyboard comes included and is of good quality, so the developers should say “thank you”.
Design
The Acer Aspire One 10 has a very attractive design - the top part is made in traditional black, there is only a front camera above the screen, and below it there is a touch key in the form of the Windows logo.
The back of the gadget is made in silver tones - they look especially advantageous on the aluminum cover, which also makes the device even more attractive and makes it look more expensive. On this side there is only a camera and two speakers, and there are no unnecessary inscriptions.
The volume and power keys are placed on the top end; under them, next to the front camera, there is also a small charging indicator. All connectors are located on the left side, and the bottom of the device is occupied by contacts and holes for the docking station.
In general, the design of the model is strict, modest, but not entirely typical; the tablet looks beautiful and worthy for its class. But it has immodest dimensions, because the thickness is almost 11 millimeters, and the heavy weight is more than 600 grams. Such indicators are due to the fact that a docking station is connected to it, although it is not too heavy to hold in your hands, and together with the keyboard it still weighs less than most laptops.

Screen
The device has a large screen measuring 10.1 inches, matrix type is IPS, and the resolution is 1280 by 800 pixels, they are located at 150 per inch. These are not the most advanced indicators, and it is the screen resolution that can specifically frustrate the user.
It is advisable to clarify that pixelation is not critically noticeable during disposal, and the image quality itself is very decent - there is good color rendition, brightness and contrast. By the way, as for brightness, it is at a high level - yes, you will not be able to read while sitting in the sun, but in the shade it will be comfortable to use. Another drawback of the model is the lack of an oleophobic coating on the screen, which is why you need to take good care of it and constantly wipe the glass from fingerprints.
In general, the screen is not so bad, it’s just that today there are many gadgets with better displays, and in the same price category.
Performance
Since the device belongs more to the budget class than the middle class, it does not have a very powerful processor. It has a 4-core Intel Atom Z3735F with a frequency of 1.3 GHz and 2 GB of RAM.
With these characteristics, you can expect high performance from the Acer Aspire One 10 when browsing the web, using applications, and playing multimedia files. If you try to work with 10-15 tabs in the browser at the same time or run several programs, the device will inevitably slow down when switching between tasks.
You shouldn't count on using games here, although undemanding applications will be displayed correctly. However, since this is a hybrid device running Windows, it is designed to perform standard tasks, work with office programs and other components that are used in this platform.
And for such actions, the gadget has enough processor power and the amount of RAM, so its performance is at a decent level for both a transformer and an inexpensive gadget.

Advantages and problems of Acer Iconia Tab A3-A30
Advantages:
- fast quad-core processor.
- Applications open quickly.
Flaws:
- lack of gyroscope.
- no light sensor.
- The battery doesn't hold up well.
Multimedia capabilities
The tablet provides all the possibilities for working with multimedia - a large screen, sufficient performance for playing streaming video of the highest quality.
As for the speakers, there are two of them and they are located on the back of the device. They produce good sound, but at maximum volume they can start to wheeze, which will completely ruin your experience of watching a movie or listening to music. But for comfortable use, 50% volume is enough, and in a noisy room, in any case, only headphones will always save you.
32 GB of memory is available for storing multimedia files and other elements, which can be expanded with a card up to 64 GB. If you take this entire volume together, you get quite a lot of space, enough for photos, books, several films and necessary programs.
Camera
The review model has a 2 MP front and main camera. Their quality is typical for devices - it’s good that they exist, but it’s advisable to use them only as a last resort. This situation is the norm for most devices of this type, because they are simply not created for photography.
In a situation where you urgently need to shoot something, but there is no camera, such a tablet module will become useful. The front camera is even more necessary - it will provide good quality video communication, after all, it has an extension of 2, and not 0.3 MP.
Operating system and programs
The tablet has Windows 8 installed, which can be immediately updated to the latest version. It looks the same as on a computer, and the main advantage of the gadget is that it has the ability to use all the usual programs that you are used to seeing on your PC.
In addition, the keyboard will also be useful for office use and work on the road, with which you can quickly and conveniently type text or edit a document. In general, the system works well, the device’s performance is enough to display it correctly.

Competitors
The main competitor of the review model in terms of characteristics and price is the ASUS Transformer Book T100TAF. This tablet also works with a keyboard, has the same powerful processor and higher screen resolution. But it only has 1 GB of RAM, which can significantly affect performance.
So when choosing between these two gadgets, it would be more rational to focus on the amount of RAM rather than be tempted by a small difference in screen resolution.
conclusions
Review model Acer Aspire One 10 is a hybrid device that can turn from a tablet into a small laptop thanks to a connected keyboard. Yes, due to this functionality, it does not have the most modest dimensions, but it is versatile and practical.
Thanks to the Windows system and the presence of a keyboard, the device can be used for working with documents in the office, at school or on the road. Its next advantage is its low price compared to other transformers with Windows. And although it does not offer ultra-high performance, its power and large screen are enough for the main basic needs - Internet surfing, working with applications and playing multimedia.
In terms of its characteristics, the tablet turned out to be average, but it also costs little, justifying the price with high quality and versatility. So if you're looking for a gadget that you can use with a keyboard at any time, you don't need too much specs, but the price is important, the Acer Aspire One 10 is a great buy.

Hello to all owners of this tablet and those who are faced with choosing their first transformer. I purchased this tablet a month ago and I don’t regret choosing it at all. It took me a long time to choose because I approach the issue of choosing equipment very carefully. This transformer attracted me, of course, due to its price compared to its competitors (compared with Asus, Lenovo). I didn't like the Lenovo keyboard mounting mechanism and there is no built-in hard drive. At Asus, everything seems to be the same; the hardware is identical to Acer. There are few differences, but they exist). For me personally, the differences were as follows: 1. Fastening mechanism: Asus has latches (as I was told in the store, the latches are more reliable than magnets). Of course, I won’t argue which is better, but believe me, the magnets hold well if you use the tablet as it should. (I don’t think anyone will shake it and check) 2. It follows from the first: since Asus has latches, you can only use a tablet with a keyboard as a netbook. Acer, thanks to magnets, can be inserted in any way you like, and can be used as a netbook or a “tent”. The store told me that this solution to using a tablet is pointless, but maybe someone will find it useful (for example, watching movies). When I tried the “tent”, I was very surprised that, no matter what the tablet, the hard drive was still detected as it should (by the way, the hard drive is 500GB, and this is true). 3. Charging methods: Asus charges only through the original Asus cable. Acer has a special adapter connector, and can be charged via microUSB. Very convenient when there is no adapter nearby. 4. The most significant one is the battery. If Acer has 8400 mAh, then Asus only 3950 mAh. I also liked that Acer offers a free upgrade to Windows 10. As soon as I bought the tablet, I immediately upgraded to 10 (the first licensed Windows). The store also offered me an Acer Switch 10. I looked at these options for a long time and couldn’t understand how they differed (it’s just that one store had One, and another Switch). As a result, together with the consultant, we began to look at what the differences were, and were surprised that there were no differences... everything was absolutely the same. The only difference is the name, and of course the price... Switch costs 5,000 more. Thanks to the consultant for not trying to push me to pay more. So if you haven’t made your choice yet, pay attention to this transformer. This is an excellent solution both in price and quality! Thank you all for your attention, happy shopping!
