If Multiman is not installed on Play Station 3, you need to download it, unpack it and place it on a USB drive along with the game. 2. Go to the “Install Package Files” section;
3. Then open the “Standard” item at the bottom of the list;

I. Installation and subsequent use of the game on the HDD of the PS3 console

1) First you need to prepare the set-top box for installation. To play without discs, you need applications specifically designed for this purpose. These include:

• Blackb0x FTP ;
• Open Manager.

Finding them on the Internet will not be a problem.

2) download the programs listed above. We take a suitable USB flash drive and format it in FAT32 format. Upload programs to a flash drive.

3) The next step is to put the set-top box into jailbreak mode. To do this, you must first turn off the power to the PS3, that is, unplug the cord from the outlet, or you can also, if provided, turn off the special toggle switch.

• We insert our crack flash drive into the console’s USB port and launch the console;
• Press the “Power” and “Eject” buttons in sequence, the latter is intended to eject the disc;
• Log in to “Install Package Files”;
• We are looking for packages with Open Manager, as well as with Blackb0x FTP (in this menu);
• We install them one by one using the “X” button. Don’t forget to check whether the named items appear in the “Game” menu;
• After successful installation of both programs, remove the USB flash drive from the USB flash drive and proceed to the next step - installing the game.

5.5) “UPnP” → enable.

5.6) There is no need to use a proxy server. Save the settings with the “X” button and go to the “Game” menu. We find our recently installed Blackb0x FTP program and launch it.

5.7) Let's go back to the PC, namely Total Commander. In Total Commander, select “Network” and find the “Connect to FTP server” tab there. We go into this tab and click “Add”, and in the connection settings we set:

• Connection name is PS3;
• Server - 192.168.1.2:21.

Again, we leave the rest empty.

5.8) We connect to this connection and see that a menu has appeared in which we need to select a directory called dev_hdd0, and then go to the menu “Game" → OMAN46756.

5.9) Create a folder in this directory, and you can call it whatever you like, but for ease of use it is better to call it “Games”.

5.10) Copy the selected PS3 game to this folder. After completing the copying process, you need to exit the Blackb0x FTP program.

5.11) Launch the Open Manager program (as you remember, it is located in the “Game” menu). You will be asked a question about using OMAN46756, which you need to answer by clicking the “Yes” button.

5.12) Select the copied game and press the “X” button again (the game will be displayed in the */app_home/PS3_GAMES

).

We can play. If it does not start, see point 6.

6) Sometimes it happens that the game still won’t play without a disc, then you just need to insert any licensed disc for PS3 into the drive, after launching Open Manager and selecting the desired game, press “X”. The console should recognize this disc as the original disc of the installed game.

If the software weighs more than 4 GB

Attention! If you are the owner of a PS3 Super Slim game console, no instructions for installing games will help you. To date, hacking it is not possible. The FAT32 format has remained very popular for a long time; almost all devices support it. But it has a big drawback - it does not recognize more than 4 GB of information on the disk.

If the game weighs more:

1. The flash drive needs to be formatted in a new way. But now you need to specify NTFS instead of FAT32;
2. Transfer the game files to a flash drive and insert it into the connector on the console;
3. Turn on your PS3 and open MultiMan in it. This program works in two modes. We need the "MultiMan" mode;
4. To go to it, open the menu of this program and select the desired mode here using the L1 or R1 button;
5. Then go to the left in the program for settings;
6. Select the line called “Switch to MultiMan mode” and confirm to open it. You need to press the cross button on the joystick;
7. MMCM mode should reboot. After which MultiMan should be displayed. We go down in this window to find the switch between two formats - NTFS and FAT32;
8. Then you need to enter the file manager and transfer the game to the following path “dev_hdd0-GAMES”.

In the Total Commander program on your PC, select “Network” and then: “Connect to FTP server.” Click on “Add” and in the FTP connection settings we set PS3 for the connection name, 192.168.1.2:21 for the server, and leave the account and password empty. After this, connect to the selected connection. In the menu that appears, select the directory called dev_hdd0 and go to the “Game” menu and to OMAN46756. In this directory we create a folder called “GAMEZ”, where using the F5 button we copy the folder with the desired game. After the copying process is completed, exit the Blackb0x FTP program and launch Open Manager in the “Game” menu. When asked about using OMAN46756, we answer “Yes”. Now select the game and press "X". The game will appear in this directory: */app_home/PS3_GAME/ Please note that not all games can work without a disc, but there is a way out. If you have any licensed PS3 disc lying around, then launch Open Manager again and insert your disc into the drive and press “X” after selecting the desired game - the console will recognize it as the original disc for the installed game.

Preparing the PS3 to run games from a flash drive

The more expensive licensed discs for consoles become, the more gamers are thinking about starting to download and run games on PS3 from USB drives. This can make life a lot easier if you're not used to spending huge amounts of money on licensed games.

Unfortunately, the base PS3 firmware is equipped with an anti-piracy system, as well as regional protection, which in most cases will block the game from running on the console if the regional marking of the disc does not match the marking of the console. Therefore, in order to run games from a flash drive, you must first reflash your device.
