It turned out to be very simple, the setup did not take much time, I prepared instructions, following all the steps of which you will be able to play Minecraft through Hamachi (or rather, through the virtual local network that the program creates).

Setting up an online game in Hamachi

First, find a video game that supports online play. And then complete the basic application settings:

We launch the utility and go through registration.
Next, click on the “System” tab and select “Options” here.
A window will appear where you again need to go to the “Settings” section.
Near the Encryption and Compression items we set “any”.
Click on additional settings.
Disable the use of a proxy server by selecting “no”.

After registration is completed, you should create a new network by clicking on the appropriate button, and indicate there its name and password, which your friend should know.

If you did everything correctly, you will see your network and current IP, automatically generated by the program and assigned to your PC or laptop.

The next step is for your friend to connect to your network using your ID and password. If successful, your friend will appear in the server list in the program.

In the server.properties file , located in the server folder, you need to set the “ server-ip= ” and “ server-port= ” parameters. In our example, it will be server-ip=25.20.64.165 (IP from Hamachi), and server-port=25565 (by default).

Once the server has started, your friend should connect to your server by doing the following. He will need to launch Minecraft, go to “Network Game” and select “Add” . In the window that opens, you must enter the same IP and port that you entered earlier on your computer and click “Finish” . Then your server will appear in the list of servers, and you and your friend will be able to play on it.

There is another, faster and easier way to play on a Minecraft server with a friend using Hamachi. To do this , start the game, enter the world and press the "Esc" key . In the game menu that opens, select “Open for the network”, set the desired parameters and click “Open the world for the network” .

The message “Local server port ____” should appear in the chat , where “____” is the port number of your server. And your friend will be able to connect to you through the “Network Game” game menu, specifying the IP and port as described above.
