Xiaomi introduced Poco X3 NFC - the world's first smartphone with Snapdragon 732G

Xiaomi held an online event where it presented the latest smartphone under the Poco brand - Poco X3 NFC. Unlike the latest devices in this line, which were actually renamed versions of Redmi smartphones, this new product is a unique device with an unusual main camera unit and interesting features.

Poco X3 NFC is powered by the new 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset, a mid-range mobile platform with Adreno 618 Elite Gaming GPU, which speaks volumes about its gaming capabilities. The smartphone itself is equipped with a LiquidCool 1.0 Plus liquid cooling system with an enlarged copper heat pipe and a multilayer graphite sheet for effective heat dissipation. Support for the Game Turbo 3.0 gaming function is also announced to squeeze out maximum performance.

The smartphone uses a 6.67-inch LCD display with a punch-hole for a 20 MP front camera. Screen resolution is FHD+, refresh rate is 120 Hz, touch layer frequency is 240 Hz. The company says it has applied technology to adapt the refresh rate depending on the content that is currently displayed on the display. That is, the frequency is dynamic; when viewing pictures it will be 50 Hz, and in games it will be 90 or 120 Hz.

Poco X3 NFC is powered by a 5160 mAh battery. The declared battery life is two days - a very good result, but, apparently, this is when the dynamic frequency of the screen is activated. The included 33 W power supply charges the smartphone in 65 minutes. It can be charged to 62% in half an hour.

The main camera consists of four modules, the main one - Sony IMX682 - has a resolution of 64 megapixels. The rest are a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and two 2-megapixel ones for macro photography and background blur. The camera has a night mode and supports artificial intelligence features. Other features of the smartphone include an NFC module, very loud Hi-Res Audio stereo speakers and IP53 splash protection. The device runs MIUI 12 with Poco shell based on Android 10.

The flagship smartphones Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact were presented at the end of February. The younger version of the device was immediately recognized as the smallest top-end smartphone in the world, because its display diagonal is only 5 inches.
