Brave offers a new approach to this problem: the browser removes all advertising from website pages, prevents them from tracking and spying on users, and at the same time, Brave is positioned as an independent advertising platform that respects privacy.
How it works?
Brave blocks ads displayed on sites users browse. It prevents ad trackers and cookies from launching, operating, and collecting data as the user browses.
However, users can choose to allow cookies if they wish, or alternatively, if they don't mind seeing ads, the browser will reward users for viewing ads using the built-in BAT token.
On top of that, the browser gave users the ability to reward their favorite sites with tokens. The donation system is built into the browser, where content users can reward the publisher with a one-time or recurring donation of BAT cryptocurrency.
The software development company's goal is to create a system where users are rewarded for paying attention to advertisements using the BAT token. Advertisers pay to place an ad in BAT and a portion of this ad revenue will be passed on to the viewer.
