The smartphone turned out to be light and compact; it fits well in your hands and does not slip. The performance is average, but sufficient for most tasks of the average user, but the cameras turned out to be quite good. The downside is that the battery is not the most powerful.

In principle, you can do anything on it, but the buttons and other interface elements are so small that it is difficult to reach them with your finger, and there is no stylus, like in the Galaxy Note line. The worst thing is typing: instead of the spacebar, you constantly press the round button, which minimizes the application and returns you to the desktop.
It is assumed that to type text you should unfold the smartphone and use the internal screen: the active application will open automatically. It’s actually more convenient to type this way: in Samsung’s proprietary keyboard, the keys are even divided into two blocks with a gap in the middle so as not to reach for the center of the screen with your thumbs. However, there is no gap in the popular Gboard keyboard, but this does not cause any difficulties.
In the accompanying brochure, Samsung suggests opening two or three applications on the big screen at the same time, such as a video library, instant messenger and search engine. They can be placed end to end or one on top of the others. Probably someone will be able to find useful links, but this is not so easy for several reasons.
Firstly, some programs are quite functional in themselves: while reading, notes can be taken in the next window, or directly in the text; You can send the geotag directly to the chat without messing with maps. Secondly, applications are not designed for this mode. The screenshot in the brochure shows WhatsApp next to YouTube, and half the screen is occupied by a playlist, information about the channel, and various buttons that interfere with both watching and discussing. Finally, thirdly, even if there is nothing superfluous, it is inconvenient to use services in tiny windows. It’s often easier to switch between applications the old fashioned way (or even buy two flagship smartphones from the same Samsung: a pair of Galaxy S10+ will cost less than one Galaxy Fold).
The Galaxy Fold is the most enjoyable to read. The screen diagonal does not seem to be huge - 7.3 inches, but due to the aspect ratio, like old TVs, the area is impressive - about the size of an e-book. Galaxy Fold immediately opens your eyes to how pathetic the endless rolls of text are in mobile versions of websites and novels rearranged on the fly, which you need to rewind without stopping, as if you have a nervous tic. This is one of the most anticipated foldable phones as Samsung has significantly improved the hinge, brought a glass display and polished the foldable lineup with more finesse. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a testament to this fact, and hopefully the Fold 2 will make foldable devices a mainstream product category. Coming to the device, the Fold 2 is expected to come with a 7.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED Display with Infinity-V Punch-Punch. And on the outside it will have a smaller 4.6-inch AMOLED cover display. If you’re not in the mood, you close it and use the small screen.
Although the auxiliary screen is not very convenient for active use. If you need to go to the call log and dial a number, okay, no problem. But typing text on a keyboard with small characters is inconvenient: there is a high risk of missing.
