Save a backup

Step 1 : Connect your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or PC and open iTunes.

Step 2 : From the top iTunes menu, click on your iPhone or iPad icon.

Step 3 : Click Create a copy now . If you want an extra level of security, check the box next to Encrypt backup... How to install iOS 12 through Settings

I won’t say that on iOS 11 I was somehow annoyed by the iPad Air - it worked tolerably for me, but on iOS 12 there were no complaints about performance at all. Apple has noticeably speeded up animation, rendering, and opening applications. If in numbers, then it is promised:

• 2x faster app loading

The iPhone 5S worked well on iOS 10 too - we did not update it to iOS 11 (based on reviews), but on iOS 12 it became even better than on iOS 10. Without losing performance, the phone received all the features of iOS 12 and iOS 11 .

And yesterday I had a chance to compare two iPhone 5S: one was on iOS 10.2.1, and our second was on iOS 12. They work approximately the same. But iOS 12 is still a little faster in various operations.

How to install iOS 12 via iTunes

If the iOS 12 update does not appear in Settings, you can download it from a direct link and then install it through iTunes. To do this, it is better to use the latest available version of iTunes.

Step 1: Connect your iOS device to your computer using a USB cable. Wait for iTunes to detect your device.

Step 2: Click on your device icon in the iTunes menu.
