Even in the recent past, in order to play Android games, you had to have a tablet or smartphone with you. Now everything has changed, and in order to enjoy your favorite games, you just need to download the emulator to your computer. An emulator is a program that allows you to run Android games on a PC. There are many such programs now, and one of the most prominent representatives of this genre is Droid4X, which we will talk about today.
What is Droid4X
This program will provide you with almost perfect compatibility with applications and you will be able to work with them without any problems. Android version 4.4.2 (kitkat). Its system requirements are standard, the same as those of other similar programs:

To get started, launch the emulator and go to the AppStore tab. In the app store, you will see a search bar. Enter the name of the game you want and wait for the system to present you with search results.
Choose from the selection exactly the game you want. You can make sure that you have what you need by going to the game page and reading its description. Also on this page you will see an “Install” button. Click on it. Often the game will also require access to a virtual device. So click on "Accept" to allow it.
Next, the whole process will proceed automatically: the game will be downloaded and installed. After which you will see the application shortcut on the emulator desktop. All you have to do is click on this icon and make sure that the game works well.

To configure, you must first download the program. When you boot for the first time, it is recommended to configure the program to work. First, let's select the screen resolution. We go into the program, and on the left side of the screen click on the switches icon.
The “permission” item will be available. You choose the resolution yourself, but it is better to choose the golden mean. Too high a resolution will give a good picture, but will degrade performance. You need to try the effectiveness of choice on a powerful game. If everything is fine, then you have selected the correct resolution. And if the red icon lights up on the left, then click on it. Apparently there is something wrong with the resolution.

Which is better, Droid4X or Bluestacks
At the moment, among emulators, these two stand out very much. They are similar to each other, so many argue which is better and choose between them.
These emulators both cope well with their tasks. The downside of Droid4X is that its design is worse than that of BlueStacks. The interface is a bit poorer and harder to figure out. The functions are the same, but they are more difficult to access.
But the advantage of this emulator is that it is completely free. With BlueStacks, you need to pay $2 per month, that is, $24 per year. There are no discounts, promotions, bonuses, etc.
Bottom line: Droid4X is an application that does an excellent job of what it does. It certainly has its drawbacks, but overall it’s comfortable to use this application. So download it. We recommend!

Recommand. Unfortunately, if you installed Droid4x on your PC and live in Russia, then this window will not be useful to you. The reason is that the developer does not support our region. So feel free to skip this tab.
Desktop. Here is the main desktop of the emulator. There are two folders here:
- SysFolder is a directory in which you will find all the games and programs installed on your virtual device. If you want to go back, just click on “Back”.
- HelpCenter - this tab is unlikely to help you: there is no help information here as such. Rather, it is a presentation consisting of pictures labeled with English comments. Pages are scrolled using a button depicting a green arrow. You can return to the home screen by clicking on the house located in the lower left corner.
AppStore. This is the well-known Play Market. If you have already visited this store on your smartphone, you will not see anything new. And the principle of working with Google Play will be the same, regardless of what device you are working on. For example, if you have Droid4x installed on your PC, then you will need to enter your Gmail account information to work with the catalog. If you don’t have one yet, you can create an account by going to the official Google website. Typically, the procedure will only take a couple of minutes. But eventually you will be able to receive all the applications placed in the directory. But not only paid software is presented here, but also free games.
