What is an email attachment?

What to do if Mail.ru email does not open

If you can't get into your mailbox, you'll likely see an error message. Depending on what problem has arisen, there are different ways to solve it.

Reason 1: Email deleted

This mailbox was deleted by the user who has access to it, or by the administration due to a violation of any of the clauses of the User Agreement. Also, the box can be deleted due to the fact that no one has used it for 3 months, in accordance with the terms of the User Agreement, clause 8. Unfortunately, after deletion, all information that was stored in the account will be erased without the possibility of recovery.

If you want to regain access to your mailbox, please enter valid data into the login form (username and password). And then just follow the instructions.

1. Try to access your mail from another browser. I use Opera, so my other browser is Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.

2. Clear cookies in the browser. In Opera you can do this like this: Tools – Delete personal data – Detailed settings – Check the box next to “Delete all Cookies”

This method is bad because you will then have to re-enter your login and password on all sites. To prevent this from happening, you can do something smarter. Go to Tools – Advanced – Manage Cookies – Find mail.ru in the long list and delete it.

A file cannot be downloaded from the Internet: possible reasons

Let's start with the fact that there can be quite a lot of reasons for the occurrence of such failures. One of the most common is protecting files from downloading. Such problems will not be considered. Let us dwell exclusively on everyday situations and methods for correcting them.

Among all that can be attributed to the root causes of failures, the following can be mentioned:

  • lack of disk space;
  • traffic limit;
  • exposure to viruses;
  • communication interruptions;
  • incorrect connection and browser settings;
  • blocking downloads by Windows security and antivirus software.

So, the file cannot be downloaded from the Internet. What to do and what to do? As trivial as it sounds, a simple lack of disk space can lead to such problems.

Therefore, you initially need to make sure that it is there, using the disk partition properties menu or the information in the status bar of Explorer.

For torrent clients, the problem may also be that the file is not downloaded from the Internet only because the download location is incorrect due to a change in settings (for example, last time the download was made directly to a flash drive, and after removing it the program reports that the volume is missing). In this case, you just need to specify a different folder into which the download will be done automatically.

Almost everyone knows how to download files from the Internet using torrent applications. It's quite simple (the torrent file starts and the download starts automatically). But if the process does not start because there are no distributing computers at the moment, in some cases setting a forced download will help.

If you are using a metered connection, you should first check the availability of traffic in your “Personal Account”. Perhaps the sites are opening (there is still enough traffic for this), but the size of the downloaded file exceeds the remaining limit.
