Yandex browser closes with an error. Yandex writes: what to do and how to remove the error. How to fix an error with opening a page

First problem. Miniature

It turned out that recently (around February-March 2020) Yandex has greatly tightened its policy regarding the use of Turbo pages, but it seems that it has not written directly about this anywhere. Now the content on Turbo versions should exactly match the content on the main pages of the site.

The first thing to check is the thumbnail . If it is in the original, then it should be in Turbo too. And vice versa. It was like this for us - we don’t use pictures on legal sites, we make a thumbnail, but don’t display it on the page, since it doesn’t have any value, we just hide it, but it’s there in the code so that links to articles look nice in the sidebar . RSS for turbo takes the code and the picture cannot be hidden from there. But you can simply not display the miniature on Turbo.

We work with turbo through the WP plugin from Flektor, there is a checkbox in the settings (in the screenshot). They removed it, waited and clicked on the “Check” button in the webmaster. After a couple of days the error went away.

For each error, I wrote to Yandex Technical Support in the Turbo section, this is what they sent me in response to this first critical error in the thumbnail:

Replacing system libraries

Very often, an antivirus cannot eliminate all the consequences of an infection. Malicious programs modify the contents of system libraries, causing them to function incorrectly. In this case, after cleaning your computer from viruses, you will have to start restoring system files.

For browsers to function, the “rpcss.dll” library is required, which is located in the “C:windowssystem32” directory. Try copying it from another computer or downloading it online.

You should also run the Windows Corrupted System File Recovery Tool. This can be done using the command line:

  1. Bring up the Start menu.
  2. In the search bar at the very bottom of the menu, enter “cmd”, but do not press Enter.
  3. Right-click on the found utility and select the “Run as administrator” function in the context menu.
  4. In the Windows console that opens, enter the command “sfc /scannow” without quotes and press Enter.
  5. Wait for the process to complete and close the console.

Second problem. Site header

Already on another site. Apparently, there really was a jamb in terms of layout. Back in the days of my former agility, I made the design myself in PSD and gave it to the layout designers. There was one nuance in the header, such as shadows from small blocks in the header that extend beyond the main width (in general, nonsense), and most likely that’s why the picture was inserted into the header somehow crookedly.

Wrote to TP. They say that on the website there is a picture in the header, but not on the turbo (well, that’s nonsense
